Bowels of Mercy

This week has been rather hectic with finals and final papers to write. While doing a research paper on Guy Fawkes Day, I came across this article in the New York Times:


". . . for they are bowels of mercy . . ."

guy fakes? is he different from guy fawkes? is he the FAKE guy fawkes? and of course now the question is: do you burn a fake guy fawkes in effigy? is there such thing as a fake effigy?

hey now, hey. i commented because this was a funny typo. i haven't forgotten the one time caleb wrote "the flaming lisp" either.
